I've been writing as long as I can remember. My very first book, written at age 11, was all about vampire orphans who saved the world from evil aliens. A real page-turner, that one! Since that unquestionably awful start, I have dabbled in everything from epic fantasy to young adult hard-boiled mysteries before finally coming back to my sci-fi roots.

I am obsessed with story in every form. There is no greater passion in my life than finding new ways to tell them. The most important part of that is making sure that I tell stories about the people who so often get left out of media. Diversity, especially neuro-diversity, is the heartbeat of everything I write.
